Grade Level Service Partners
Rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church and inspired by the charism of the Rosminian order, our school embraces service as a vital expression of faith in action. Blessed Antonio Rosmini believed in the dignity of every person and the call to serve others with humility, love, and compassion. Guided by this mission, we cultivate a lifelong commitment to service in our students-beginning in the earlies years and deepening as they grow.
In preschool, students are introduced to service through age-appropriate lessons in personal safety, kindness, and self-respect. Lessons focus on bike and helmet safety, brushing teeth, and keeping our bodies healthy through a balanced diet. In January, students participate in a bike-a-thon showing off all the skills they learned during these lessons. These foundational values help them understand how to care for themselves and others in a Christ-centered way.
In grades K-2, students begin to look beyond themselves by partnering with a local nursing home, Lake Seminole Square. Our 2nd graders write letters with the residents and meet with their pen pals at the end of the year. Kindergarten and first graders made seasonal decorations and birthday posters for the resident’s doors. Through letters, crafts, and occasional visits, they form joyful intergenerational connections that nurture empathy and compassion.
In grades 3-8, students take on increasing responsibility by selecting a service partner organization for the entire school year. Each class forms a unique relationship with their chosen partner-ranging from food pantries to animal shelters to community outreach programs-and participates in hands-on activities and reflection throughout the year. These experiences foster a deeper understanding of social justice, mercy, and the Rosminian commitment to living out the Gospel through action.
Service at our school is more than a program-it’s a way of life, woven into the rhythm of our days and the heart of our mission. Through every stage, students grow in faith, compassion, and purpose as they learn to serve God by serving others.
